20th Poney & Green Hornets Reunion in St Louis, Aug 5-8 2021.
Hello Ponies and Green Hornets, we hope this finds you looking forward to our reunion. It's time to start fine tuning our plans. If you've not done so, we encourage you to make your hotel reservation at Hilton St Louis Frontenac, 1335 South Lindbergh Blvd, St Louis, MO 63131, (314) 993-1100. All rooms must be reserved using code SP21. No penalty if cancelled with a 48 hour notice. We use weekly reservation motel updates to determine our overall need for transportation and food.
Our biggest expense remains our bus transportation. While our final commitment depends on our number of attendees, we estimate $65/person based on 35 people. Other expenses will be $3/person for the guided tour at the St Louis Soldiers Museum, $17/person for the Gateway Riverboat Cruise, and $10/person for our first night's dinner in our hospitality room. Our activities are optional. We will have subs, sides, beer, wine, water, and soda. All other meals will be individual checks. Joy has put together an itinerary that has a combination of easy excursions, shopping time for the ladies, and time for individual sightseeing. Most importantly, she’s made certain the “20th” Brothers have ample private time with each other. We will collect all money due during registration. As our past hosts have successfully accomplished, we are working hard to provide you with a great time at the best price. This is why your RSVP and secured room reservation is a must. If you would like to order a polo shirt, let me know. Men’s and ladies available.
How can you help? We need to hear from you. Huge thanks if you’ve been responding!! Take a moment to let us know you’ve received this email. Are you planning to attend the reunion? Do I have your phone number and address? Did you provide a point of contact other than your significant other? Are you a facebooker? If yes, please "friend" Joy to be added to our “20TH” event page!! To date, the following members have secured their reservation: Steve Zink, Art Martinelli, Jim King, Brad Wycoff, and Steve Bales.
